Our internship program gives every semester the opportunity to three talented individuals from different disciplines to conceptualise, design & prototype an idea that combines storytelling with cutting edge technologies.
Next semester starts in October 2017.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Internships run 6 months, on a semester basis starting around February and around August every year. Application deadline is a month prior to start.
You will work a 40 hour work week. We provide a base stipend starting at 400,- € per month. Payment varies based on your studies and the german minimum wage law (MiLoG).
You will work 60% of your time in a team of three (design, production, technology) to develop a working prototype of a game you collectively create. Proactivity is a must.
You will work 40% of your time on a running production of Honig Studios. We throw you right into the action and let you learn hands on.
Each internship program start with an idea you (or someone from your team) submitted during the application process. A predefined schedule and milestone track will help you develop, design & prototype your idea.
You will regularly present your project’s progress, collect feedback and document the process.
Be expected to present a working prototype of your idea to the team towards the end of your stay with us. We think it’s important to start developing not only your skills but also to be able to speak about it.
Internships are intended for undergraduate (B.A.) and graduate (M.A.) students, who are looking to gain working experience during their studies. Although exceptions may apply, an internship shouldn’t be interpreted as a way to get a job offer.
